the location was particularly good and convenient, right by many food shops, attractions, the train station and matsumoto. lucky that it was relatively near giraffe stop, offering food to go. had essentials needed in the double room, including an electric kettle and refrigerators.

Toyoko Inn Matsumoto Eki Higashi Guchi offers a fantastic location just a 5-minute walk from Matsumoto Station and is surrounded by numerous eateries and convenience stores, making it easy to find food options. We loved the variety of breakfast dishes, although a coffee machine for lattes would have been a nice touch. The room was clean, and the staff were friendly, even storing our luggage while we explored nearby landmarks like Matsumoto Castle and the historic Former Kaichi School.

Spent a lovely Xmas holiday at a hotel just steps away from the train station, shops, and restaurants. the breakfast buffet had a wide selection of dishes that we enjoyed trying out. We also loved the convenience of being a short walk away from both the mall and the castle.

Although the hotel was a great base for exploring the city, we missed having a coffee machine that made fresh cafe lattes and cappuccinos in the morning. it would have been helpful to have an iron and ironing board available in our room for our clothes, especially for ladies' garments, instead of just a trouser press.
